My older sister is back in Japan right now. She said she went back to work as she got tired of settling in Philippines without nothing to do. Last week, when we chatted, she showed me the gold chains and some jewelries that were handed down to her by her husband’s siblings which, accordingly came from their mother with a note written on it. It said on the note that the stuff should go to her daughter-in-law who is my older sister. The mother prepared it before her death. How special, right?

I thought my sister is very blessed to have such in-laws. Gold chains and jewelries made of precious stones and gems are valuable, you know! The good thing about it is that, my sister is not the type who is materialistic. She doesn’t even wear lots of jewelry but a watch and a ring. I guess what she received from her mother-in-law is a good form of investment. Do you think so?
